London and New York: January 26, 2012 – StormHarbour, a leading independent global markets and financial advisory firm, announces today that Eric Daniels, former Group Chief Executive of Lloyds Banking Group, has joined the firm as a Principal and Senior Adviser, effective immediately.

Mr Daniels, who retired from Lloyds Banking Group last year after seven years as Group Chief Executive, will draw on his extensive experience in the global banking and financial services industry to provide strategic advice and insight to StormHarbour’s issuer and investor clients and to the firm’s senior leadership team. Mr Daniels will be based in StormHarbour’s London office.

Since its establishment in 2009, StormHarbour has grown rapidly and profitably, gaining critical scale and global scope in its core businesses of sales and trading, structuring and advisory and capital markets. The ongoing reshaping of the financial services industry provides significant opportunities for independent, client -focused, global service providers such as StormHarbour and Mr Daniels will play an integral role in setting the firm’s long term strategy and realising its significant growth potential.
