StormHarbour (“The Company”), the leading independent global markets and financial advisory firm, today announces the appointment of two senior executives to continue the firm's push into the Italian maket. Federico Buccellati joins as a Senior Advisor, whilst Francesco Dissera joins as a Managing Director, supporting the group's activities in the region with a particular focus on Fixed Income Structuring and Advisory

Federico Buccellati has built up an extensive track record in origination and transaction execution during his 30 year career in investment banking. He has advised on privatisations, acquisitions and IPOs across a range of sectors, for a total value in excess of EUR 100bn, and has also worked on a number of key projects for the Italian Government, major Italian financial institutions and infrastructure companies. In addition to senior roles at Schroders and Citigroup, Federico most recently held the position of Head of Advisory for Southern Europe and member of the Management Committee at Dresdner Kleinwort.

Francesco Dissera has over 17 years' experience in investment banking and capital markets, spanning Italy, Iberia, Switzerland, the UK and Greece. During this time he has originated and executed more than 60 ABS transactions across EMEA, with a particular focus on FIG and Government related assets. Prior to joining StormHarbour, Francesco spent 14 years at UBS AG building the securitisation and covered bond business across EMEA, and most recently headed the firm's ABS offering. Francesco previously worked for JP Morgan in London and New York, where he was involved in executing the first Italian ABS transactions under law 130/1999.

These appointments are the latest in several senior hires at StormHarbour, in line with the company's ongoing strategy to enhance its sector expertise and origination capabilities across its core regions, including Southern Europe. In March, StormHarbour appointed Michele Rolleri as Managing Director, to bolster the firm's Italian DCM advisory expertise. The company also appointed Mike Turnbull as Managing Director, Capital Markets in London last year.

Antonio Cacorino, Founder and Managing Principal, commented: “We are delighted to welcome both Federico and Francesco to StormHarbour, and look forward to drawing upon their experience across a number of high-profile and historic transactions to supplement our existing advisory offering. With the additional senior hires StormHarbour has made recently, the firm is well placed to continue this strong progress.”
