London: May 9, 2012 – StormHarbour, a leading independent global markets and financial advisory firm, announces today it has made 13 senior appointments across the Sales & Trading, Structuring & Advisory and Capital Markets businesses in London, further strengthening the firm’s specialist regional and global client coverage and expertise.
Per Mario Floden, Darron Weinstein, Andrea Pittaluga and Vincent Pena have joined the firm to lead and expand StormHarbour’s European Real Estate and Commercial Real Estate business, working across Sales & Trading, Structuring & Advisory and Capital Markets. Floden and Weinstein have been appointed Co-Heads of StormHarbour’s Real Estate Group.
Rizwan Hussain and Alejandro Gonzalez-Ruiz have joined the firm covering Special Situations & Alternative Assets, where they will focus on disposals and monetization of performing and non-performing loan portfolios and illiquid fixed income assets.
In Sales and Trading, Juliano Mattar has joined covering Emerging Markets (EM) Sales, responsible for structuring and distribution of EM fixed income products. In addition, Shehreyar Hameed has joined as Managing Director of StormHarbour’s Middle East and North Africa business, and Shammi Malik has joined the Sales & Trading team. Hameed will focus on Middle East origination and fund distribution, and Malik will focus on covered bond, asset-backed securities and commercial mortgage-backed securities trading.
In Capital Markets, Nicholas Fentem has joined to lead the Rates Structuring team, focusing on the trading and structuring of interest rate derivative products for both asset and liability side clients. Aishwarya Dahanukar has joined the Financial Institutions Group Capital Markets team, focusing on funding and capital management solutions for StormHarbour’s financial institution clients.
In addition, Ingrid Weston and Verena Butt have joined the European Infrastructure Finance team, responsible for financial advisory, structuring, and debt and equity capital raising services to clients in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
